Nintendo sold more than 800 million consoles since 1983

We continue to receive interesting sales data related to Nintendo. After Nintendo shared the console’s updated sales this morning and we received a sales comparison with Nintendo consoles along with the confirmation that it has already outsold PS3 and Xbox 360, now more relevant details are coming in again.

As we have learned, with the updated figures for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has already surpassed 800 million consoles since 1983. In total, 800.84 million Nintendo consoles have been sold, which keeps Nintendo as the video game company that has sold more consoles in history by a wide margin.

Here is the comparison, which does not include platforms such as Game & Watch and retro consoles:
