Android 12’s Material You UI will be the most radical change in the design of the operating system for years and some third-party apps are already adapted to the future changes.
Android 12 stands out mainly for its great ability to change the colors and appearance of the entire operating system according to the wallpaper. An ability that is also available in Samsung’s One UI.
Material You UI of Android 12 has seen light on these third-party apps
Material You UI is the evolution of Material Design, which was the first and big step taken by Android to become the operating system it is today.
This new iteration of Material Design was announced by Matias Duarte at Google I/O 2021. And there are already some of Google’s apps that are interpreting this design as has happened just yesterday with Google Camera.
The interesting thing about having one of the first apps from third-party developers with Material You is that the developer behind Sleep as Android.
Sleep as Android with Material You UI
This app is developed for monitoring sleep cycles. Actually what it does is to use the key colors of the wallpaper you have on your mobile phone with the latest version of the OS. This way application will be in harmony with the design of the interface.
It is available on the Google Play Store, although its developer has provided a link to its APK.
Inware with Material You UI
Another app that has joined the trend is called Inware. It is an app dedicated to giving us detailed information about our system.
To enjoy Material You UI we need to be in the beta channel of the app that you can download from the Play Store.
When you have it installed all you have to do is activate the option in settings called “use system colors.”
