TikTok’s great successes can be explained by its AI-supported content recommendation system, now ByteDance will sell that to other companies as well.
TikTok is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance and they decided to sell their AI to other companies. The company has a new division called BytePlus, and it is selling the AI system to some other applications, such as Goat or Singapore WeGo.

TikTok‘s video recommendations are based on where we stop when we swipe, where we comment, where we share as well as on video information, such as subtitles and hashtags, device and account settings. Of course, language and country also play a role. That’s a lot of variables to hook the user and keep people in the app for longer periods.
BytePlus will offer access to a customized AI-supported recommendation algorithm for those apps. It also offers automatic voice and text translation and video effects in real-time, this is something very useful in thematic social networks.
The data analysis part is also included in the package, although in this sector there is a lot of competition and it will be more difficult to market.
At the moment there is no data on the ByteDance website informing about prices or contact forms for negotiation.
