One of the most awaited options by WhatsApp users presents certain difficulties that will surely delay its official entry.
The multi-device option became one of the novelties of the most important instant messaging application in the world, WhatsApp, which aroused the most enthusiasm among users in 2021.
The application owned by Facebook, WhatsApp, has already been working with this option since last year, even Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the possibility of having a WhatsApp “account” open on up to 4 devices was going to be a reality.
However, in the beta version, the reports that have been obtained have not been entirely satisfactory.
WhatsApp problems on multi-devices
Despite the promises made by the owner of Facebook, the reality is that in the Beta version, it is reported that the feature will only be available on computers. At least in its first stage.
That is, this first multi-device version only allows WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp Desktop, and Portal to work without an active Internet connection on your phone.
It means that you will not be able to link a cell phone to another iPhone or Android. Initially, this feature is exclusive to those platforms. WhatsApp also confirms in a screenshot that the first multi-device version will only support those devices.
WABetaInfo noted that performance and quality may also be affected, but it’s temporary: beta features always have issues, but they are fixed before being released to everyone.
WhatsApp is also developing a sign-out option for linked mobile devices, according to a report, which means adding a second phone to multi-device sign-in could be possible in the future.
