Just as Clubhouse is about to open the door for any user to sign up, Twitter is redesigning its application so that Spaces and its audio chats can take center stage.
Spaces are becoming vital for Twitter, as, in the latest version of the app released on iOS, it takes all the limelight to let it be known that Clubhouse-style audio chats are here to stay.
Twitter published its redesigned app on iOS yesterday and a new tab can be seen in the Twitter app so that the Clubhouse style audio chats can be easily reached. The new tab called “Spaces discovery” is located in the navigation bar, right between the search icon and the same for notifications; although we will have to see if the new Twitter design is taken to Android.
In this new design, the navigation bar shows five icons instead of four. This redesign of the Twitter app is being shown to some users, so we will have to wait a bit for that new tab to also reach Android phones.
new feature alert 🎉 we want to make it as simple as possible to join the best, most relevant audio conversations every time you open Twitter. starting today, we will be testing a new way to find Spaces––we're adding a tab! pic.twitter.com/BJ5WoJB6wE

Specifically, this new tab is dedicated to quickly view the Spaces that are being held at that moment, so that we do not miss a single one. It seems very similar to the notification tab of Clubhouse, so if you use this app you won’t feel strange.
The design of the format is in cards and you can see perfectly one after the other, so that you can select the one you are interested in to participate.
