5G connection speed reaches a new world maximum with Qualcomm’s new module. With the new Snapdragon X65 and X62 5G M.2 from Qualcomm, a new benchmark in mobile broadband connectivity has been reached, at the 5G frequency referred to in the name of these modules, which for the first time in the world reach the speed of 10 Gigabits with maximum efficiency in energy consumption.
With its plug-and-play design and its M.2 type form factor, OEMs can reduce the time required to design and launch devices with integrated 5G capabilities, and are also equipped with the revolutionary breakthrough in connection speed.
Qualcomm alludes to the growing demand for data consumption due to telecommuting and mobile work, so the company is committed to taking the lead in accelerating the expansion of 5G connectivity with the most advanced designs and the most demanding performance.
The Snapdragon X65 and X62 5G M.2 are available now and can add 5G connectivity to both PCs, laptops, and gaming devices.
At the same time, Qualcomm announced an improvement in the features of its Snapdragon X65 5G module that includes a fourth-generation 5G antenna that allows it to also reach speeds of 19 Gigabits with maximum energy efficiency. Its availability to the industry is expected by the end of this year 2021.
