Today all Apple devices have just received a new firmware version, including watchOS 7.5 for the Apple Watch.
It’s only been a month since the last Apple Watch software update, but that doesn’t mean it’s not important. It includes some outstanding new features for users. Let’s see what improvements it offers.
Apple just released watchOS 7.5 a while ago, the fifth major update to the watchOS 7 operating system since it was released in September 2020. watchOS 7.5 comes a month after the release of watchOS 7.4, an update that added Apple Watch iPhone unlocking when wearing a face mask and other notable features.
The watchOS 7.5 update can be downloaded as usual for free via the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50 percent battery, must be placed on a charger, and must be in the range of the iPhone, the usual stuff, come on.
watchOS 7.5 introduces support for Apple Card Family and subscription content in the Podcasts app. In some countries, it enables the ECG app and irregular heart rate notifications.
This means that from now on, Apple Cardholders will be able to share their Apple Card with their family members. We will also be able to subscribe to paid Podcasts.
