A great novelty for the Instagram app with a new sticker that is sure to capture the attention of the millions of users who use Stories by making it more accessible.

With a focus on accessibility, Instagram now includes a new sticker in Stories that converts what you say into text.

It has announced it a few hours ago through its Twitter account so that any user from Instagram Stories can take this new sticker that will convert what you say into text instantly.

Instagram becoming more accessible

Many of us may miss it, but this great new feature from Instagram adds a layer of accessibility for all those who can’t or don’t want to listen to Stories. And the truth is that there is still a long way to go for many of the apps we use to be accessible to everyone.

Sound off 🗣
…with sound off 🔇

Now you can add a captions sticker in Stories (coming soon to Reels) that automatically turns what you say into text.

In this case, it is a sticker that we can place in a Stories with sound to automatically convert what was said into text. But even better, Instagram allows us to edit the subtitles that are generated so that the message we want to get across is more complete.

That is, if the subtitles have a typo, we can correct it and let them be seen perfectly so that any of our contacts can read them. Apart from accessibility, this new feature is perfect for the user who has the mobile on silent and can know what is being said in a Stories.

Instagram has announced that this great new feature for accessibility will reach a large number of countries so that shortly it will expand to the rest. Interesting, while another novelty announced in March is currently being quite criticized.
