How to change the ringtone of a Samsung smartphone?

If you don’t know how to change the ringtone of a Samsung smartphone, we are going to help you out. Are you tired of the classic ringtone of your phone? You can change it very easily without downloading third-party applications.

You can change the ringtone on any of the Samsung models but the options may be in a different location depending on the One UI version you have.

How to change the ringtone of a Samsung smartphone?

If you want to change the ringtone of your Samsung smartphone for one of the default ones offered by the company, follow these steps:

First, go to the system settings. Next, go to ‘Sounds and vibration’. Finally, click on ‘Ringtone’. You will see several default options to choose from.

It is also possible to set no ringtone at all. To do this, just click on the ‘Silent’ option that appears in the upper area. In this case, only the notifications will appear on the screen.

To set a ringtone, select the name and press the back button. This sound will automatically be activated.

How to choose a custom ringtone on a Samsung smartphone?

Do you want to set your favorite song as a ringtone? Samsung Galaxy mobile phones allow you to do so, and the steps are very similar.

Before starting with the steps, you need to save the song you want to use as a ringtone to the internal memory of your mobile phone. It is best to connect the phone to the PC, copy the file or song and save it in the ‘Music’ folder, which is in the ‘Audio’ section.

To set a song as a ringtone, go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > Ringtone. Then click on the ‘+’ button in the top right area. You will enter the Samsung player, where all the songs available in the internal memory will appear.

Choose the song and click on the Done button. The ringtone will be saved and every time you are called this song will play.
