The company announced the new Apple TV 4K, introducing the A12 Bionic chip in it and completely redesigning its remote control while retaining its essence. The main advantage of this new Apple TV 4K is the ability to play 4K and HDR content at more frames per second, reaching 60 fps. These developments will also improve the experience with video games and Dolby Vision content recorded with the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max.
iPhone and Apple TV will be able to adjust the colors of TV
One of the most amazing features Apple announced today is the ability to adjust the color balance of our TV with the iPhone, provided we have at least iOS 14.5.
According to the company, Apple TV uses the iPhone’s light sensor to compare the color balance of our TV with the color spectrums that are standard for the industry, and thus get as close as possible to it. All this, moreover, without the user having to adjust his TV, as the Apple TV will take care of it.
Here is the new Siri Remote for Apple TV 4K
On the new remote control, we have the button to summon Siri located on the side, which will prevent accidental presses while trying to lower the volume or navigate between tvOS menus. We also have a new button to mute our TV instantly, as well as another dedicated button to turn it on.
Also, the surface on which we slide our finger disappears in favor of something that reminds us of the ‘Clickwheel’ of the old iPods.
