Apple announces a new iPhone 12 in purple color. If before Apple used to launch its latest iPhone in red, or Product RED, now they surprise us with one in purple.
It was a color that we had previously seen on the iPhone 11, but that went out of the rotation with the last announcement, which was strange because it sold quite a bit.
That’s why it makes all the sense in the world that, to revive the news about its smartphone by launching a new color, it’s purple.
We reviewed the iPhone 12 at the time and it’s a beast of a phone at a pretty competitive price for what it had been before, and that’s why the 11 was such a hit.
Without going any further, Tim Cook called the iPhone 12 “the most popular cell phone in the world”, although we don’t know on what figures he based it.
This Friday it opens for sale in the United States and selected markets. We do not know if it will arrive in South America and if so, when, but it will probably happen.
For now, we can only wait. The case is the same for the new Airtags and the new Apple TV 4K in its 2021 model, which has a new remote control.
