We have been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy A82 and today its specs, price, and release date are leaked. It is a smartphone that will come as the successor of the Galaxy A80.
All these details come from South Korea, where Samsung plans to also launch this new model. This model will be called Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 there, but all other features will be the same worldwide.
Samsung Galaxy A82 specs
Some early leaks already let us know some details of this high-end smartphone from Samsung. Now a Twitter user called @FrontTron has shared some photos of the device.
The first thing that stands out is that this time the rotating camera will not be part of this model and the company will opt for a small central hole like we saw in the Galaxy S21 series. There’s a triple camera configuration with a 64MP main camera.
The photos allow us to verify that the device has a 6.7-inch Super-AMOLED screen with QHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside the smartphone, we will have a 4,500mAh battery compatible with 25W quick charging, but in the Korean version, it will only arrive with a 15W charger. The processor will be the Snapdragon 855+. The model we see in the photos has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, but there might be different options too.
Samsung Galaxy A82 price and release date
Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 (Galaxy A82) will be released on April 23 in South Korea but we still don’t know the official release date for other markets. The company will reveal the price of the new A-series smartphone really soon.
