Crysis Remastered update for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 available now. In addition to performance and resolution improvements, the title now enjoys several additions and bug fixes.
With each new month that passes, more and more productions are added to the confines of Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The now-current generation of consoles enjoys a larger catalog compared to its launch, and this is due not only to backward compatibility with its predecessors but also to updates -sometimes free, sometimes paid- that studios make of their works to adapt them to contemporary hardware. And this is precisely what has happened with Crysis Remastered.
In this sense, Crytek has shared through Reddit, in a post for Xbox and another for PlayStation, that the updates that adapt the video game to their respective systems are already available. Thus, in addition to bug fixes and inclusions of elements such as a new level, both performance and resolution have been improved, thus offering the following variables:
- Xbox Series X :
- Performance mode: 1080p and 60FPS
- Quality mode: 2160p and 60FPS
- Ray Tracing: 1440p and 60FPS
- Xbox Series S :
- Performance mode: 1080p and 60FPS
- Quality mode: 1800p and 60FPS
- Ray Tracing: 1080p and 30FPS
- PlayStation 5 :
- Performance mode: 1080p and 60FPS
- Quality mode: 1800p and 60FPS
- Ray Tracing: 1440p and 60FPS
However, it is imperative to point out that the update in question brings with it a much larger number of modifications to Crysis Remastered, which you will be able to detail in the respective links linked above.
