Dying Light 2 continues to uncover some of its most important secrets, today we were able to learn that the game will have random events and dynamic encounters similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. The open-world title will feature narrative elements similar to what we saw in the Wild West RPG.
Dying Light 2 has been revealing a lot of details in the last few days. Techland is making progress in the development of this long-awaited game that will arrive in 2021.
Since the first game was quite popular among zombie fans, the second title has a perfect opportunity to revalue its action proposal with great additions while polishing those aspects that fell short in the initial game. Therefore, the content and depth of the game are crucial.
Fortunately, Dying Light 2 will not fall short on those aspects. In an interview, Tymon Smektała, the game‘s lead designer, revealed a feature that will be really interesting for those who enjoyed playing Red Dead Redemption 2.
Dying Light 2 will feature random events and dynamic encounters that will magnify the open-world experience. When asked if there will be such events similar to those in Rockstar’s game, the developer replied: “Absolutely! There are a lot of stories in Dying Light 2’s world.”
As Smektala himself commented, the events will be linked in some way to the game’s own narrative. When exploring the game map we will be able to enjoy small events that will add hours of gameplay and depth to the proposal.
One more feature is confirmed. The duration of Dying Light 2 will be about 20 hours and it will not be a ”Cyberpunk 2077 case” in its PS4 and Xbox One versions, according to its creators.
