In an event that has taken place in China, BlackShark has presented its two new gaming mobiles, the Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro, which we should see in the coming weeks in some countries. Here are its specs, price and release date…

Design
Both models are very similar on the outside and opt for a design similar to that seen in previous versions, although the camera module is more subtle, similar to that of the ROG Phone.
On the back, they have an X that lights up with LEDs and on the front, the screen takes up almost all the space, with a central perforation at the top for the camera.
Technical specs
In an attempt to have as varied an offer as possible, Black Shark has opted for two different processors, the Snapdragon 888 for the Black Shark 4 Pro, the most powerful, and the Snapdragon 870 for the regular model.
There are also different RAM and internal storage options. The Black Shark 4 will have 6, 8, and 12GB RAM and 128 or 256GB internal memory while its bigger brother will have versions with 8, 12, and 16GB RAM and 256 or 512GB internal memory.
As for the cameras, they both have three sensors. They share the 5MP macro sensor as well as the 8MP wide-angle one, but the main camera varies. In the normal model, it is 48MP and in the Pro, it is 64MP.
Gaming
As is logical, mobile of these characteristics has unique features. In the case of the new BlackShark 4 Series, we have physical pushbuttons, as in last year’s models, and a powerful cooling system.
Also, we have accessories such as a fan that provides greater cooling, which is key to keeping the processor at the highest level as long as possible.
Display
Last year Black Shark did not have the best screen in a mobile, at least on paper. This time it has opted for the best available for mobile gaming. That is, it does not go to a QHD resolution, because games are not ready for it, but in all other respects, it is a premium panel.
We have 6.67 inches with FHD+ resolution. The maximum refresh rate is 144Hz and watches out because the touch sampling rate, which is usually around 240Hz, reaches 720Hz, the highest seen in a smartphone. This helps to make keystrokes instantaneous, key when using some games.
It is compatible with HDR10+ technology and uses an OLED panel type E4, similar to what we see in the $1,000 models of other brands. The maximum brightness is 1300 nits and supports DC Dimming.
Battery
Another novelty of this model is its charging system. The battery, of 4500mAh, uses a USB C charging port but the implemented technology allows to fully charge the mobile in less than 15 minutes.
This is possible thanks to a 120 W fast-charging system. We need the charger that comes in the box to get that speed.
Speakers
Although being the best in a section is something temporary, not all phones can boast of it. Until recently, the phone with the best sound was the Asus ROG Phone 5. Now the Black Shark 4 takes the place.
This is thanks to two symmetrical dual speakers, one on the upper front and one on the lower side, three noise-canceling microphones, a headphone jack output, and DTS, AAC, and Cirrus Logic components.
Black Shark 4 and Pro price and release date
This model has been launched in China in four colors: Suikong Black, Prism Gray, Ink Sea Black, and Zhan Yuqing. The latter is a limited edition. Prices will depend, as always, on memory:
