According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will let you answer messages from apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
Despite the fact that smartwatches have more features, there are many users who opt for activity trackers. Because they generally came for a cheaper price plus they are able to record basic parameters such as heart rate, number of steps, distance traveled, in addition to being lighter and more comfortable to wear.
However, there are some features that we find in smartwatches that we do miss. The ability to respond to messages is one of them, but if the rumors are right the new Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will make users very happy.
The latest rumors indicate that Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will let us reply to messages from WhatsApp, Telegram, and other instant messaging apps. This is revealed by the code of the Mi Fit app, where you can see that there will be an option to reply to messages by swiping up the notification.
What we do not know is how it will be possible to reply to WhatsApp and Telegram messages from the device. There may be default replies that can be selected with a tap, or if it integrates Alexa or Google Assistant perhaps it will be possible to reply via voice.
This new feature joins the features of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 that we already know through previous leaks. At the moment we know that the new generation of Xiaomi’s tracker will have the model number XMSH15HM and will feature a slightly larger screen than the current one. The increased size of the panel would make it easier to respond to messages.
Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will let you answer messages from WhatsApp, Telegram and other applicationsThe leaks show that the Mi Band 6 will be equipped with a SpO2 monitor to measure blood oxygen levels, will come with Alexa to interact via voice commands, and will have integrated GPS. In addition, the training modes will increase from 11 to 30.
At the moment Xiaomi has not confirmed any of these features, so we can’t take anything for granted yet. We also don’t know the release date of the Mi Band 6, but it has been certified outside of China recently so it may become official this spring.
