Amazon has announced that its music streaming service, Amazon Music, is now available on Google’s operating system for TVs. And no, until now it could not be used easily on TVs and set-top boxes, with one exception, the Nvidia Shield TV.
Amazon Music can now be used on Android TV and Google TV
Amazon continues to strengthen its ecosystem of services, including Amazon Music. The system has free versions, paid versions included in its Prime rate, and monthly payment.
All of them can be used from the new application that can be downloaded both on TVs with Android TV and the new Chromecast with Google TV.
Amazon has confirmed that is among the countries where we can download the application. It will also be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, France, Italy, India, Japan, and Australia.
In our case, we have been able to verify that the download is available both on a TV with Android TV and on the company’s latest Chromecast model.
With the app, we will be able to follow the lyrics of the songs on the screen while listening to the music through the TV speakers. We can control the playback using the TV remote control as in any other music app like Youtube Music or Spotify.
