Last August, Instagram introduced Reels and now the company adds support for this feature to its Instagram Lite version. This feature allows users to create short videos in a more animated and fun way. Since its launch, a multitude of content creators has been publishing these contents, which now have more presence in its renewed interface. Now they are also coming to Instagram Lite.
Reels support is coming to Instagram Lite
Instagram Lite is the light version of the application. Last year it stopped working in many markets, although it is still available in countries such as India.
Instagram Lite is a very light version of the original application, in which only the essential features are present. Features such as the store, IGTV don’t work on that version. But Reels will be available from now on, it is already active in India.
From now on the users of the application will be able to view short video content directly from Instagram Lite. They will be able to watch Reels but it will not be possible to create and upload your own Reels. This is something that is still only possible in the normal version of Instagram.
It should be remembered that this light version of the social network is intended mainly for low-end smartphones. Users who update to the new version of the application on their phone will be able to enjoy the Reels.
