In this article we will tell you how to set a silent alarm on your Apple Watch.

We have the option to put Apple Watch in silent mode. This way you can still see the alarms and notification alerts silently, only using vibration, so that it won’t disturb you.

Among many of the functions and settings available on the Apple Watch, there is one that is not well known but worth its weight in gold. It is the silent mode. So your watch will use vibration instead of sounds when it needs to alert you to something.

Whether you’re at work or home, (unless you work at a highway tollbooth, or live alone) silent mode can help you stay in touch with your Apple Watch without disturbing the people around you.

Set a vibration-only alarm

If you activate the silent mode, you remain in contact with your Apple Watch only with vibrations, without sound.

It’s very simple. All you have to do is set it up normally and put your Apple Watch in silent mode.

To do this, with the normal screen of the watch face, slide your finger up, and activate in red the bell icon. This will put your Apple Watch in silent mode.

In this way, both alarms and notifications will vibrate instead of ringing. If you also want to disable the vibrations to silence it completely, then what you must activate is the do not disturb mode, by tapping on the crescent icon (night mode). That’s the difference between “silent” and “do not disturb” mode, that one vibrates, and the other does not.
