If you travel a lot and don’t know how to find a guide on Apple Maps, we are going to help you out. With the release of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 Apple introduced an interesting new feature for the Maps app: The travel guides. Along with the improvement in the information displayed in the app, the company added information from certified travel guides in the app.
The guides offered in Maps have a high-quality standard because Apple checks and approves the different people responsible for their posts. Entities such as Lonely Planet, The Washington Post, Louis Vuiton, TimeOut or Culture Trip, among others, are responsible for the development of this content.
Quality before quantity, it also represents that it is the major cities that will offer us the largest number of guides, although over time they will be expanded to destinations and locations less visited. Apple publishes the new guides without prior notice, so if we have been consulting some of them for some time it is very likely that they have been updated or there are more available.
