The first details of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 appeared. There is no week in which we do not have a presentation or a leak of a new product from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, and to start this week, we bring you the first details of its new activity bracelet, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6.
Xiaomi Mi Band 6 specs
The Xiaomi Mi Band is the most successful product of the Chinese manufacturer thanks, above all, to its great value for money as we can have a good activity bracelet for very little money.
After the great success of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, we already know the first details of the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 thanks to the guys from Gizchina who echo a report published in Logger.
According to this report, these details have been leaked in the code of the application for bracelets and smartwatches of the Chinese giant, Zepp, a completely renewed app that was presented a few months ago.
In the firmware of this application, this media found that the codename “Pangu” corresponds to the Mi Smart Band 6 which, in turn, is the codename of the Mi Band 6, and that two versions of the new Xiaomi activity bracelet will arrive: The XMSH16HM model which is the Chinese version with NFC and the XMSH16HM model which is the version without NFC and which will probably arrive in Worldwide.
In this same firmware, it is also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will have blood oxygen saturation measurement (SpO2) and will be compatible with Amazon’s intelligent voice assistant, Alexa.
Thanks to this media we have also been able to know that the screen of this activity bracelet is going to be a little bigger and with more resolution since the watch faces (or screen spheres) that have been leaked are a little larger than those of its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Band 5, which had a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels while the new model will have a horizontal resolution of at least 152 pixels and a vertical resolution of between 360 and 368 pixels.
Another of the great new features brought by the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is the improvement in the notifications we receive since in this bracelet there will be more applications that will have their own notification icon and we can also display up to 308 emoticons in the notifications we receive from the different apps.
As a good sports bracelet, the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will expand the sports we can monitor from the current 11 modes to more than 30, including basketball, volleyball, boxing, badminton, bowling, dancing, Zumba, cricket, kickboxing, and ping pong.
