Apple and its Mac grew more than any other PC in 2020
The report comes from IDC, which states that the personal computer market grew by 26.1% and no similar numbers were seen since 2010. The leader in growth in the last quarter of the year was Apple with its new laptops.
However, the sales leader during this period was Lenovo with 25.2% of the total market globally, followed by HP (20.9%) and Dell (17.5%). Apple ranks fourth with 8%.
The market firm assures that Apple, after its launch of the MacBook Pro with the M1 processor, sent 23.1 million computers, and in general, it was the brand with the greatest growth during 2020, so the good news may not be directly related to the launch of its computers with its own processor.
The company will make its first report on January 27 and we will be able to know the official figures. But we can clearly say that Mac grew more than any other PC in 2020.
