A few days ago, Microsoft released Windows 10 Build 21286 for members of the Insider program on the Dev channel in which we find some new features such as dynamic content on the Windows 10 taskbar. It is a version that shows us the possible changes that we will find when Windows 10 21H2 arrives.

Among the various new features that are presented, there is a very interesting one related to the taskbar. They bring dynamic content that shows us information directly on the panel, such as the weather or the news.
Windows 10 will bring dynamic content to the taskbar
It is basically what they are, new dynamic icons on the taskbar with additional information. However, what makes these things interesting is that they display information directly on the bar before we click on them. When we hover the mouse pointer over one of these icons we will see a pop-up window with more information or we can click to go to the website from the browser.
Microsoft showed examples where you can see news, weather forecast, schedules, and results of sporting events, financial information, and more.
There are up to seven variants that are being experimented with so far, and the final version that we will receive could have slightly different organization and animations. It is an interesting addition, there were already some third-party apps offering similar experiences.
These are similar utilities already offered by the start menu with the live tiles, but this tool is more convenient since you do not have to open the menu, it doesn’t occupy a lot of space. The best part is, if you don’t like it you don’t have to use it. It will be possible to remove dynamic content from the Windows 10 taskbar.
