The Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G might have a 108MP camera just like Xiaomi Mi 10. News about the future series of Redmi Note 10 phones for the global market has started to emerge recently. We recently saw that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G for international markets is already receiving multiple certifications, so its launch would be just a few weeks away. Now, a new leak has emerged on Redmi Note 10 Pro, but in its 4G version. The report sheds some light on the photographic capabilities that the device would offer.

The source of the new report is the Xiaomiui Telegram channel. One of the 4G variants of Redmi Note 10 Pro is identified by the code name “sweet_pro”. They also point out that the mentioned variant would enjoy a larger camera sensor. If the filtration is true, the sensor in question would be the 108MP Samsung S5KHM1 (HM1).

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 4G and its possible 108MP camera

To make a little memory, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G that was introduced to the Chinese market several weeks ago makes use of Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor. In a direct comparison, the HM1 is placed above due to a brighter aperture (f/1.69 vs f/1.8), a larger native pixel size (0.8um vs 0.7um), and a larger sensor size (1/1.33″ vs 1/1.52″). Because of this, HM1 can even be found in some flagship phones such as the Xiaomi Mi 10.

Multiple variants with different cameras

However, this filtering also suggests that we can see different variants of the Redmi Note 10 Pro that will differ in-camera capabilities. In addition to this, different variants are compatible with “4G only” and with 4G + 5G. More specifically, it says that a variant codenamed “sweet” will feature Samsung’s 64MP S5KGW2 sensor along with an ultra-wide-angle sensor, a macro, and a depth sensor.

In addition to the above, it says that the device will have an IPS display. This panel will offer a variable refresh rate between 40Hz and 120Hz. The 4G variant would enjoy a Snapdragon 732G chipset, a 5,050mAh battery, and an NFC chip. That said, there is still no official confirmation from the company.

Finally, it is known from the FCC listing that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will probably have NFC, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, and will run MIUI 12 (it could also be MIUI 12.5). We will be aware of any new developments during the next few days.
