According to the latest leak, Airpods Pro 2 will come in two sizes. The AirPods Pro is introduced just over a year ago, so the next model should be coming soon.

AirPods Pro 2 will come in two different sizes and with W2 chip
In the following tweet, we see images of two pairs of cables and components. The pair on the right seems to correspond to those found in the current model of AirPods Pro. And on the left there are two others, one of them notably longer than the other.

As an added bonus, Mr. White has released a photo in which some specifications can be read. It mentions W2, the supposed successor of the W1 chip that handles the communications in the original AirPods. Since AirPods 2, this role has been played by the H1 chip, present in all AirPod models since then. That said, it is quite possible that this W2 is simply the internal name of the H1.
Mark Gurman said in October that Apple is preparing a smaller AirPods Pro and redesigned AirPods 3. The AirPod Pro 2 might come without an “antenna” to have a more compact look.
Earlier this year there was speculation that Apple was preparing AirPods Pro Lite. A version of the AirPods Pro that may not have noise cancellation. Since Mr. White’s images are showing us some components, maybe some of them are prepared for the Lite model. But we’ll see the official info sooner or later.
