Soon Microsoft Word will have a new AI-supported grammar wizard in Windows 10, which will make our texts much more unpolluted and professional.
Thanks to this technology, we will make fewer spelling mistakes than before because we will have various online proofreaders that warn us in real-time if we have misspelled a word or missed a punctuation mark.

Microsoft Word is bringing AI-supported grammar wizard
In order for all of us to be better writers and not make any kind of spelling mistakes, our favorite text editor, Microsoft Word, is testing a new AI-supported grammar wizard called Microsoft Editor. Thanks to Microsoft Editor, our texts will be flawless.
This is not a new feature because this function of Microsoft Editor has been available in the web version of Word for some time, but now it comes to the desktop application for Word in Windows 10, although for the moment it is only available in the Insider channel.
Make no mistakes with Microsoft Editor
Microsoft Editor makes use of AI and machine learning to find writing and grammar errors at the same time, something that you can already see when you write an e-mail through Outlook.
But unlike the typographical and grammatical error solver that we currently have in our desktop Word, the new Microsoft Editor uses an AI-supported system to check other elements of our writing, while showing us suggestions to be able to search for an antonym, a synonym, and references in order to make our texts richer.
We can also highlight certain sentences or words, this way we will understand some sentences much better. So we can select a word and then press “Caps + F10” or “Alt + Down” to access the suggestions screen.
Interestingly, a plagiarism checker is also included to ensure that our texts comply with journalistic ethics. Microsoft Editor is currently available for insiders under version 2010 compilation 13328.20000 and we are not sure when it will be available officially in the stable version.
