According to an internal memo from GameStop, a huge update will arrive for Cyberpunk 2077 this December 21st, which will solve most of the problems that players are reporting.

A huge patch will arrive for Cyberpunk 2077 on December 21st

In the last few days, we have received multiple negative news about the problematic launch that Cyberpunk 2077 had on all platforms. Many players who bought the CD title Projekt are asking for refunds due to the general state of the game on both PS4 and Xbox One.

  • CD Projekt RED accepts their underestimation of Cyberpunk 2077 for older consoles
  • Now Sony, Microsoft, and other stores refuse to refund for Cyberpunk 2077

For his part, the developer recently addressed the situation by apologizing for the status of the title on consoles. He also said that they will not stop working until they fix the game and provide the Cyberpunk that users have been waiting for.

As a result, updates are coming in, and while the exact date of the release of this huge patch has yet to be revealed, the VICE site says it will arrive on December 21. Apparently, GameStop employees sent a message to VICE. Stating that this update will solve most of the problems.

CD Projekt Red will issue a patch on December 21 that should be a major solution to address customer concerns about Cyberpunk 2077. If customers are still unhappy and want to return their product, they should send an email for refund instructions,” the message reads.

At the moment, CD Projekt did not comment on this, but everything seems to indicate that the updates will soon arrive.
