Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e specs
Now, by bringing the new GTS 2e and GTR 2e to the stores, Xiaomi has returned to the scene by improving these two smartwatches with lite versions. The substantial differences lie in a bigger battery for less money. At first glance, it sounds good but obviously, there are also some bad aspects.
The Amazfit GTS 2e maintains three key specifications of its predecessor: 246 mAh battery, 25 grams weight, and NFC connectivity. But, despite having the same charging capacity, this smartwatch lacks WIFI connectivity so its battery stretches to 14 days on a single charge or 24 days if used in basic clock mode.
On the other hand, the Amazfit GTR 2e keeps its circular AMOLED screen, its 471 mAh battery, and all sport modes, but increases its endurance with a single charge up to 24 days (in the GTR 2 it was 14). If we choose to use the device in basic clock mode the battery will allow us 45 days of uninterrupted use.
Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e price and release date
Both the GTS 2e and the GTR 2e will be available from December 24th in China. At the moment it is not known if the company plans to launch these new variants of its most popular smartwatches globally. The Amazfit GTS 2e will be available in three colors for approximately $120. The Amazfit GTR 2e is also available in three different colors with a $120 price tag with the current exchange rate. These smartwatches have great specs considering that they are also affordable.
