How to record calls on a Huawei phone with EMUI?
Install the right version for your phone
EMUI is perfectly prepared to record calls thanks to the recording app, although it lacks a key part that is not pre-installed in the new smartphones, a simple APK that activates the function.
On Huawei phones with EMUI 9.0, activating call recording was as easy. Although until recently there was no version compatible with EMUI 10 or higher. Though it is now possible to download an APK for EMUI 9.0, EMUI 10.0, and EMUI 10.1
If you have doubts about which EMUI version you have on your phone, you can check it by opening the Settings app and entering the About section. There, just above the Android version, you will find the EMUI version.
After installing the previous APK, you won’t notice anything new on your phone until you make a call. Then, one of the buttons that appear on the screen during the call will disappear to make room for the Record button. When you press it, the call will be recorded.
Therefore, when you want to start recording a call you must press the record button and press it again when you want to stop recording. You can start and stop a recording several times during a call and, moreover, when you hang up the recording stops automatically.
