The New Star Wars animation series could be in development. Lucasfilm may be developing a new Star Wars animated series set during the events of the High Republic.
Although the Star Wars franchise began in the cinema, the universe created by George Lucas has been able to diversify with great success, and, in fact, who is giving him more joy today are his productions for the small screen, more than those of the big screen.
Of course, we are talking about The Mandalorian and his adorable Baby Yoda, of which we already know its real name but, although this first series in real action of Star Wars is triumphing. The truth is that the galactic universe had already managed to make a space for itself on television thanks to its animated series, such as Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels, a path that seems to want to be explored again.
As published on the website Cinelinx, Lucasfilm and Disney would already be working on three new Star Wars animated series, one of which would be set during the time of the High Republic, the latest release in novel format by Luminous Project, which has been very well received by fans of the franchise.
Although it does not give more details about how and when the alleged animation series would be developed, if it is set during the time of the High Republic, it happens 200 years before the beginning of the Skywalker saga, in a time of splendor for both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi, whose Order is stronger and more powerful than ever thanks to the many members that compose it, therefore we will have the opportunity to see many battles with the lightsaber and to know a little more about the force.
