Razer BlackWidow V3 specs
Like the BlackWidow V3 Pro, these new keyboards feature ABS Doubleshot keys, which have thicker sidewalls that make the keys more durable; plus a double-shot molding process, which causes the letters to be engraved on the keycap instead of printed, preventing them from wearing out even after “thousands of hours of use.
Razer‘s mechanical switches have been enhanced with additional sidewalls for greater stability, as well as the use of a new transparent housing that will allow light to shine more easily, making the RGB lighting brighter compared to previous models.
One thing that is noticeably different from the BlackWidow V3 Pro is the media controls. Instead of a full set of media buttons, this new version will include a single button and a roller, which we can customize for various functions such as volume adjustment, skipping tracks, scrolling, brightness adjustment, etc.
On the other hand, BlackWidow V3 will keep the routing option of its cable under the chassis, as well as the compatibility with the brand’s wrist rests. Although the rest of the things will be limited to the basic model.
And as we said, this keyboard will come with the BlackWidow V3 TKL, a more compact variant that opts for mobility with the elimination of the numeric keypad and multimedia controls that would be located on it. However, the size will be the only big differentiator, since both variants will keep most of the features, such as the N-key rollover technologies, its 1000Hz ultra polling rate, the full compatibility with the Razer Chroma lighting software, and the two Razer Green and Yellow switch options.
