How to translate Instagram comments to your language?
First of all, you should check which language you use in your Instagram app, because the tool uses that language as a reference point. Let’s say you will translate a Spanish or French comment to English. You should be using your Instagram in English.
- To do this, open the application and click on your profile photo, located in the lower right corner.
- Then, click on the three-line button in the upper right and go to Settings> Account> Language. Click on the language you want to configure on Instagram and the option will be saved.
Once this step is done, it is time to translate the captions and comments of posts on Instagram. As we have mentioned, it is a fast and easy-to-use tool in which you can find out what other users are saying in the posts without using Google Translate or some other translater.
Next, open Instagram and find the post that you want to translate its comments. Below the image, on the right of the post’s date, you will see a button called “See translation”. Click on it to translate the full caption and featured comments. In less than a second, you will be able to read all comments in your language.
Once the translation is done, you can re-read the captions and comments in their original language by clicking on the “See original” button. Instagram’s built-in translation tool has a problem though: it only translates the featured comments that appear below the post.
When accessing the full list of comments, the “See translation” button disappears and we cannot use this tool’s help to understand what other users have said. This is an important problem that Instagram should solve in the next updates so users will be able to translate and understand all the content that is displayed under a post.
