Apple announced the new iPad Air model, which resembles the iPad Pro, find here its features, price and release date.
New Apple iPad Air features
Apple introduced the new iPad Air today, which resembles the company’s iPad Pro. Positioned between the iPad and iPad Pro last year, with the new model, it is possible to see a significant design change from Air. Last year’s Air featured thick top and bottom bezels and a button for Touch ID, but the new iPad Air has much thinner bezels all over the screen.
Apple uses a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 2360×1640 resolution, on this new iPad Air there are True Tone support and anti-reflective coating features. Apple has also moved the Touch ID fingerprint reader to the power button on the top to be able to place this screen between the thin bezels.

The processor of the new iPad Air has a major change, switching to the A14 Bionic, a 5 nm chip with six cores and 11.8 billion transistors, two operating at high speed and four at low speed. Apple also promises 40% performance increase and improved graphics support over the latest iPad Air thanks to the new quad-core GPU.

Apple says that the A14 Bionic is the “most advanced chip” ever, also includes certain machine learning accelerators that applications can use. Apple demonstrated a variety of apps during its press event today and promised app developers can harness the power of this new chip.
Apple is starting to use USB-C connectivity on iPad Air, just like the iPad Pro. The device supports 20 Watt fast charging. The company added advanced video stabilization when using the 12MP rear camera we saw on the iPad Pro in Air. The iPad Air has a 7MP FaceTime HD camera on the front with support for smart HDR and 1080p 60fps video recording.
