The presentation date of the Google Pixel 5 is finally official. Google has begun to send invitations to an event that will take place on September 30.
Google’s invitation: “We invite you to learn all about our new Chromecast, latest smart speaker and new Pixel phones.”
Of course, it will be an online experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Everything indicates that it will be the launch of the Google Pixel 5 but they didn’t name any models in the invitation, the event is called ‘Launch Night In’ and it was originally scheduled to take place on the 25th. This change in date is probably made to take some attention from Apple presentation.
- Google Pixel 4a review: the best Android camera
- The next Samsung Unpacked will be on September 23
- Apple will introduce iPhone 12 on September 15
Expected features of Google Pixel 5:
- 5.8-inch P-OLED screen with FHD+ resolution.
- Snapdragon 765G processor with eight-core CPU and Adreno 620 GPU.
- Compatible with 5G.
- 8GB RAM.
- 128GB storage capacity.
- Three rear cameras: 12.2MP main, 16MP telephoto and 8MP wide-angle.
- 8MP front camera.
- 4000mAh battery.
Although Pixel 5 will probably be the king of the party, as we have already told you, it will not be the only protagonist. Another name mentioned in the invitation is Chromecast, we have no information about the Chromecast, unless it’s Sabrina which we talked about in this article.
We also know a little about the speaker that will share the scene with the Pixel 5. The new smart speaker is called Nest. It is a rectangular speaker that can be held both vertically and horizontally, the sound quality is a question mark, because positioning will probably be a key point on this subject. Anyways we have our eyes on this event, Google Pixel 5 will be presented on September 30
