Motorola Razr 5G is the new foldable phone which will be presented next week. And it looks spectacular.
Motorola Razr 5G will be the fifth-generation mobile broadband support version of the foldable smartphone in which Motorola resurrected an iconic model that swept sales 15 years ago and still has a legion of fans.
Peculiar for its “shell” type format, it maintains a recognizable appearance while innovating thanks to a flexible OLED screen that replaces the physical keyboard that was installed at the bottom. The screen is specially curved in an arc, in another nod to the old Razr design. The oversized “chin” at the bottom is also recognizable from the original. Although it is not the best mobile phone design, Motorola says it is a practical necessity to accommodate the fingerprint sensor, antennas or speakers.

Like the old school Razr, it also has a secondary display on the front that activates when the phone is bent. It can function as a trackpad, display for the main notifications, clock or multimedia controls and it is a joy for users who are tired of the huge tablet-sized phones and who are looking for something that can be operated perfectly with one hand.
Motorola Razr 5G specs
Compared to the current model, the version with 5G offers some novelties in external design. The fingerprint reader has migrated to the back of the device as part of the Motorola logo and the rear camera is somewhat more prominent alongside the flash, keeping the stainless steel and glass chassis.
Improvements are expected in the internal hardware compared to the original, with a Snapdragon 765 chipset, accompanied by 8GB RAM and 256GB storage capacity. Its rear camera will be 48MP and the front camera will be 20MP. The battery will also have a higher capacity of 2,845mAh. We don’t think the flexible OLED screen will be much larger than 6” fully unfolded, while the secondary will be 2.7”.
It won’t be budget-friendly considering the price of the original, the addition of 5G, and the hardware improvements, but we love this new phone. It will be presented next Monday along with a set of additional accessories to offer wireless charging and other functions.
