Lenovo announces its new Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, a high-end tablet geared towards productivity due to its features, but which does not neglect entertainment with its screen and sound system.

Taking advantage of the IFA 2020 fair in virtual format, Lenovo has presented its new proposals for the second half of 2020 with an assortment of products among which we find a new range of Yoga and Legion laptops, but also products as interesting as this Tab P11 Pro, Lenovo’s new high-end tablet.

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, a business tablet with an adjusted price

According to Lenovo, the recommended social distance to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a 54% increase in the time spent on video calls and streaming communications, and the use of tablets as a take-away tool has increased by 22.5% carry out those communications from home.

This trend is expected to grow up to 20% more by the end of the year. That is the main reason why the brand bets on this Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, a tablet aimed at the professional field as a work-from-home tool during those video calls and to consume streaming content.

We are talking about a tablet with an 11.5-inch OLED screen that has a 2K resolution (2,560 x 1,600 px) and HDR10 and Dolby Vision support with a brightness of 500 nits.

Lenovo‘s new tablet mounts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor that offers good performance in graphics and gaming processing, supported by 4 or 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The tablet has been specifically designed to be used horizontally with its separately sold Lenovo Keyboard Pack Keyboard Sleeve attached. This is revealed by its double 8 Mpx front camera that offers a bokeh effect for video with which it is possible to blur the background of the video call in real time.

At the back it has a two-camera pack consisting of a 13MP main camera and an ultra-wide angle lens (119°).

Being a tablet oriented to productivity at home, the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro integrates different security systems such as facial recognition based on a ToF (Time Of Flight) sensor or a fingerprint sensor.

Designed for work, but also for leisure

Lenovo’s proposal with this Tab P11 Pro is not limited to offering good productivity performance, meeting leisure needs is also among its objectives.

Having an OLED screen and Dolby Vision support is an invitation to enjoy a good movie, watch series or kill time with one of the latest games. Autonomy for more than 15 hours is guaranteed by a 8,600mAh battery.

In this sense, the audio section will not waver. It mounts four stereo speakers tuned by JBL to provide a more immersive experience with Dolby Atmos surround sound that changes its settings when the position of the tablet is changed so that the sound is always reproduced through the correct channel.
