Sony’s new high-end smartphone, the Sony Xperia 5 II, has been leaked on video a few weeks before its official presentation. 2020 will not be the best year for technology events, but that does not mean that we will not have several. Despite the fact that the Mobile World Congress being held in Spain has just canceled, the IFA in Berlin will take place in a few days, although not in a conventional way.
In this event it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will be announced, but others like the Sony Xperia 5 II will delay its presentation until September 17.
Known Sony Xperia 5 II specs
It will be in the second half of the month when we see the new Sony mobile phone officially, which will have some high-end functions and features. It will continue to bet on having a contained size and an elongated screen.
This 6.1-inch panel maintains the 21:9 ratio, but will increase its refresh rate at 120Hz. Despite being OLED, it will not have the fingerprint sensor under the panel and will implement it on one side, the right, as it usually happens.
The processor would be the Snapdragon 865 and it would have 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. The battery would be 4000mAh, an acceptable capacity for the size and weight of this kind of a model. And yes, it would have fast charging although the speed has not been specified.
Surprisingly, the headphone jack would remain and the triple rear sensor would bet on three 12MP cameras, a conventional angle, a telephoto and a wide angle. Sony is doing especially well in this section and we hope that this model continues to do so.
But we are still not sure about the release date and pricing.
