Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be presented on September 1, the second generation Samsung folding screen mobile already has a date and a new official image that confirms some features of the new mobile.

Samsung continues to bet on smartphones with a folding screen. After the troublesome  Samsung Galaxy Fold and the nostalgic  Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, very soon we will be able to enjoy the second generation, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

In a press release  sent to the media, Samsung announces the presentation of the new smartphone on September 1 in an online event called  Unpacked Part 2: Galaxy Z Fold 2. The event will be open to everyone through the website.

The Korean company already officially announced the mobile phone in the previous  Unpacked Part 1, which took place on August 5. There we could see the first official images of the new smartphone:

Like its predecessor, it will have a folding interior screen, book format. But it will also have an external screen to be able to carry out some functions without having to unfold it.

Samsung claims that it  has listened to feedback from experts and users, and has used them to improve and shape this new version.

In the previous Unpacked they already revealed some characteristics. Both screens of the new Samsung folding mobile (both the interior and the exterior)  are of the Infinity-O type, that is, they go from end to end of the case to take advantage of the entire size of the mobile.

The screen on the outer shell is  6.2 inches, beating its predecessor, the Galaxy Fold, by an inch and a half. The main screen also goes up from 7.3 to  7.6 inches. The camera for selfies in a  notch shaped like a drop of water.

The case design is very similar to the Galaxy Note 20 and shares the same Mystic Black and Mystic Bronze colors. In addition there will be a limited version designed by the fashion firm Thom Browne.

There are still many important aspects to be revealed, such as the interior hardware, and the price. But given its unique features, it won’t be cheap.
