The Korean manufacturer LG has published its roadmap for its phones that will get Android 10 update this year. The new mobile OS will be available for 9 of its smartphones.

When the talks about Android 11 is started, there are several manufacturers that have not yet updated their phones to Android 10 yet. Among them is LG, which is known for taking time to push the updates. However, after some waiting 9 models will get the latest version of the Google’s mobile operating system.

Among the selected models are, of course, high-end phones such as the LG V50 ThinQ or the LG G8 ThinQ . But they are not the only ones, since the K range and even some Q range models will also receive Android 10 throughout the year.

Right now, only two LG models have Android 10 as standard, and they are the LG G8 ThinQ and V50 ThinQ 5G.

Which LG phones will receive Android 10 update in 2020?

  • V40 ThinQ
  • V50 ThinQ
  • G8X ThinQ
  • G8S ThinQ
  • G7 ThinQ
  • K50S
  • K40S
  • K50
  • Q60

When will LG phones get Android 10?

According to the roadmap published by LG, the LG V50 ThinQ will be the first to receive the update to Android 10, in February. The manufacturer’s other flagship, the G8X, will receive Android 10 in the second quarter of 2020.

As for the rest of the high-end models included in the list, G7, G8S and LG V40 ThinQ will receive the update in the third quarter.

The last ones to receive the update will be, as usual, the mid-range models. Thus, the owners of the K50S, K40S, K50 or the Q60 will have to wait until the fourth quarter of 2020.
