Snapchat has finally come to the iPad with native support, ending a decade of waiting for Apple tablet users. After being confined to iPhones for over 13 years, Snapchat is now fully optimized for the iPad, offering a sleek, full-screen experience.
Until now, iPad users had to deal with the iPhone version of the app, complete with unsightly black borders. The latest update changes everything, letting Snapchat fill the entire iPad screen. This means a larger canvas for capturing and sharing Snaps, and an expanded view for seeing more friends on the 2nd and 4th tabs.
However, it’s worth noting that the initial release is still a bit of a work in progress. Snapchat on the iPad currently only supports portrait mode, and there might be some glitches as the app gets fine-tuned for tablet use.
In addition to this long-awaited feature, Snapchat has recently introduced other cool AI-driven updates. Users can now chat with “My AI” to set reminders, create countdowns, and design Bitmoji avatars.
