What to expect from Grok 2
Trained on an impressive array of approximately 15,000 GPUs, including the advanced H100 units, this model is set to rival the capabilities of GPT-4. Musk’s ambition for Grok 2 is clear: it should match or exceed the performance of its predecessors in terms of power and versatility.
In an intriguing twist, Musk shared that while Grok 2 has been extensively trained, it has yet to incorporate real-world video data from Tesla’s vast archives.
Looking ahead to Grok 3
The excitement doesn’t end with Grok 2. Musk hinted at even greater things to come with Grok 3, which is currently being fine-tuned at xAI’s Memphis Data Centre. Expected to be completed in about three to four months, Grok 3 is shaping up to be the most powerful AI model yet. With its release slated for December, Grok 3 is poised to set new standards in artificial intelligence.
