How will the new prices be with Spotify price increase?
Spotify said it will increase its Premium subscription tier by 10% in July. Accordingly, the subscription price will increase from $10.99 to $11.99. There will be no price increase on the Student plan, while Duo and Family plans will also see a price increase. Below you can see the prices that will be reflected in all tiers with the upcoming increase:
- Student plan: Will remain at $5.99
- Premium plan: Rises to $11.99
- Duo plan: Rises to $16.99
- Family plan: Rises to $19.99

Meanwhile, according to Spotify’s statement to Techcrunch, new subscribers must pay the abovementioned fees. In July, existing subscribers will be charged in this way.
On the other hand, the company shared that premium subscribers will be notified via email in the next month. We will see whether Spotify will experience a decrease in the number of subscribers due to this price increase in the future.
