Apple is trying to fix the iPhone alarm issue. Many iPhone users face this problem and can’t wake up when they should.
As someone who has encountered the problem, I understood the seriousness of the issue from the posts on social media. At the same time, it may sound a bit selfish, but I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing the problem because it’s frustrating. Imagine you have a plan, or you’re going to your office to work, and your alarm doesn’t go off. It isn’t good!
Fortunately, a statement came from Apple. Here are all the details…
iPhone alarm issue: What does Apple say?
Apple has confirmed that it is working to fix the issue quickly following an outpouring of complaints on social media. However, it is not known exactly where the error originated.
The iPhone Clock app is undoubtedly indispensable for many users. It is not only used for waking up. Some users set alarms for their daily medication doses instead of using the Reminders app. So you see, there is a critical application. But it doesn’t work properly…
It is not yet known how many users are affected by the bug, but according to social media posts, many users seem to be affected. On the other hand, it is not known which iPhone models and iOS versions are affected.
iPhone alarm issue: How to fix it
Apple does not offer a definitive solution at this stage, so users must take some precautions to protect themselves.
Double-check your alarm settings and make sure the volume is on. You can also reset your phone’s settings. Of course, I’m not talking about a factory reset, just resetting your settings:
- Open the Settings app on your device
- Tap the General tab
- Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
- Go to the Reset option
- Select Reset All Settings
- Enter your screen lock password
- Tap the Reset All Settings option that appears
These steps may solve your problem. However, if you do this, all your phone settings will be reset, including Wi-Fi passwords. Therefore, I recommend you do it with this in mind.
Important reminder: Apple’s device privacy settings can sometimes be a pain. So, before resetting the phone’s settings, turn off Find Our iPhone completely and make a backup.
