Sony, one of the technology giants, is preparing to offer PlayStation 5 users a brand-new experience. This new feature really excites me!
With an update that’ll be here before we know it, players can quickly share their multiplayer sessions with their friends.
This new addition allows gamers to interact more and have a blast!
PlayStation 5 players can scan QR codes with their phones to join multiplayer sessions
Sony has stated that PS5 owners can soon scan QR codes in game lobbies with their smartphones. This will instantly transfer friends or other players into multiplayer sessions!
Alternatively, links created through the PlayStation App will be shared to serve the same purpose. This means that players can enjoy the game with their friends or strangers.
I’d also like to mention Discord integration! Sony is also offering a special live toolkit to Discord users. This will let players see active games and how many people are playing. The company says that a small percentage of PS5 games may need to be updated for the links to run smoothly, but they’ll do their best to make this as easy as possible.

How do you use multiplayer sessions on PlayStation 5?
As I mentioned above, players will use the feature. They will see QR codes in the game lobbies that they can scan with their smartphones. They will be able to join their friends or others’ game sessions with QR codes.
At the same time, links created through the PlayStation App can also be used. For now, let’s share Sony’s visuals with you!
All these innovations may herald a new era in the gaming world. These features, which are focused on sharing and interaction, will make the PlayStation experience more social and fun. It’s so great that players can now meet their friends more easily and gain new experiences by meeting different people! While Sony’s step sheds light on the gaming industry’s future, we’re sure that other companies will implement similar applications soon.
