Let’s talk about Meta AI’s Facebook integration! This integration aims to improve the platform’s search and news feed experience. Users can ask Meta AI questions through the search bar and while browsing the news feed. Meta AI can also use Google searches to provide comprehensive answers to questions.
On Instagram, Meta AI aims to optimize search and content discovery functions. Users can access relevant content by entering the words they seek in Meta AI via the search bar or the visual search feature. Meta AI also aims to further enhance the Instagram experience by answering users’ questions and helping them find local businesses.
The possibilities offered by Meta AI may lead users to spend more time and interact more on the platform, which could increase Meta’s advertising revenues.
On the other hand, Meta AI also has some limitations. For example, it’s important to note that your friends currently cannot view your Instagram content.
How to use Meta AI on Facebook?
There are two main ways to access Meta AI on Facebook:
- Search Bar: On the Facebook app, tap the search bar at the top. You might see a change from the usual search bar to one that says, “Ask Meta AI anything.” This means you’re in business! Start typing your question, and if Meta AI can answer it, you’ll see a blue circle next to the suggestion. Tapping that will open the chat window with Meta AI.
- While scrolling: Meta AI might also be available while you’re scrolling through Facebook. Look for the blue circle icon that pops up next to certain content. Tapping this icon will also open the chat with Meta AI, where it can provide additional information or complete tasks related to what you were viewing.
How to use Meta AI on Instagram?
- Open an existing chat or create a new one.
- Type @ Meta AI” in the message box. @meta AI will pop up as a suggestion.
- Select @ Meta AI from the suggestions. This will let Instagram know you want to interact with the AI assistant.
- Type your question or prompt. Meta AI can answer your questions on various topics, suggest ideas, or even generate creative text formats.
Here are some additional functionalities:
- Generate images: To create images based on your request, you can use the “/imagine” command followed by your description.
- Start an AI chat: In a new message, select “Create an AI chat” to converse with different AI characters.
How to use Meta AI on WhatsApp?
In a group chat:
- Open the group chat where you want to use Meta AI.
- In the message bar, type “@” followed by “Meta AI“. This will trigger the AI assistant.
Starting a new AI chat:
- While in WhatsApp, tap on the “New chat” option.
- You might see an option for “New AI chat.” If available, tap on that.
- Select “Meta AI” or choose from other AI characters offered (if available).
