- Microsoft may soon offer a white, disc-free Xbox Series X, expanding its console options
- The new Xbox model could be priced lower, appealing to budget-conscious gamers
- The white design and lack of disc drive target players who prefer digital games and sleek aesthetics
Microsoft may be preparing to release a white version of the Xbox Series X without a disk drive.
This leak excites me because I love the color white, and it probably excites other gamers too. According to the leaks, here’s everything we know.
Xbox Series X could come in white and without a disc
According to images leaked by Exputer, the white Xbox Series X design appears unchanged from the current black model. However, the internal components have reportedly been upgraded, including the heatsink used to cool the console.
The product’s price tag will be $50 to $100 lower than the current model. So the console could be in the price range of approximately $400-450. On the other hand, it is expected to be released in June or July.
As I mentioned above, I love the color white. Even my keyboard and electric guitar are white. I prefer this device not only because it’s white but also because it’s discless, since I don’t collect CDs.
On the other hand, the white Xbox Series X release could play an important role in Xbox’s competition with PlayStation. The PlayStation 5 is also priced lower than the Xbox Series S.
As a result, there’s a good chance the white Xbox Series X is real. We will eagerly await Microsoft’s official statement in the coming days.
