The buzz around WWDC is getting louder as whispers suggest Apple may drop a bombshell: an AI app store! Yep, you heard it right. Think of it like your regular app store, but for AI-powered apps.

Ben Reitzes from Melius Research reminds us how Apple has a history of shaking things up. Remember when iTunes changed the music game? Well, now they might do the same for AI.

“I think you have to go back in time and realize this company has a history of convincing a lot of leaders to make apps or do something with them while they perfect the ecosystem for which it’s consumed,” he said, citing the example of how Steve Jobs “ran around talking to a bunch of the music companies saying, hey, look, we got this vision for a dollar a song, and lo and behold, iTunes saved the music industry.”

So, what’s in it for us? Well, easier access to cool AI stuff, for starters. Plus, Siri might get a facelift, making our digital assistant experience even better.

An AI App Store and beyond await at Apple's WWDCAs we count down to WWDC, excitement is building. Will Apple revolutionize AI as we know it? We’ll have to wait and see. But one thing’s for sure: this year’s WWDC could be one for the history books.
