Apple’s AirPods Pro headset, which attracts great attention among users, is becoming even more useful with the new features added by the technology giant.
Apple has introduced many great features. But this feature is really well thought out!
AirPods Pro comes with “hearing aid mode”
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a “hearing aid mode” for AirPods Pro in iOS 18.
The new feature is expected to transform AirPods Pro into a medical hearing aid and provide great convenience to people with mild to moderate hearing loss.
With this new feature, users with hearing loss can use their AirPods Pro more effectively.
On the other hand, users can use the Settings app on their iPhones to adjust sounds according to their hearing profiles.
In the meantime, the FDA has also approved hearing aids that can be sold without a prescription in 2022. In this way, users with mild to moderate hearing loss can access some treatment without going to a doctor or audiologist.
What are the current features of AirPods Pro?
AirPods Pro already has two important features that can be useful for hearing-impaired users:
- Live Listen: This feature turns the iPhone into a directional microphone that transmits surrounding sounds to AirPods. Users can place their iPhones anywhere and hear ambient sounds more clearly.
- Conversation Boost: This feature automatically boosts the volume of the person speaking before you, making it easier to follow conversations.
Apple’s work on AirPods Pro is of great importance to hearing-impaired users. The new “hearing aid mode” and other features will make AirPods Pro an indispensable tool for them.
