One of the update’s most interesting innovations is the 108 new faceted emoji design. This makes it possible to use different aspects of previously released emoji concepts with both gender and skin tone options. For example, the singer emoji now has variations that can look up, down, left, and right.

Is iOS 17.4 safe to download?

In general, all iOS updates are intended to improve the security and functionality of your iPhone. Most updates include critical patches to fix vulnerabilities that hackers can exploit, as well as new features.

But remember that, like any software, iOS updates can sometimes unintentionally introduce new bugs or problems. While Apple conducts rigorous testing before releasing updates, the complexity of the software means it’s impossible to detect everything in advance. Also, in rare cases, an update may reveal a new vulnerability, but the goal is always to improve security.

To make an informed decision about updating, it is wise to wait a few days after the release to see if there are reports of common problems. You can check online forums or tech news websites for this information. Also, always back up your iPhone before any major update to ensure you can roll back if any critical issues arise. In conclusion, weighing the possible risks against the benefits the update will provide is best.
