- QuickNode launches Streams for seamless data streaming.
- It aims to offer developers a faster and more reliable UX for data streaming and management.
QuickNode, a blockchain infrastructure platform that powers the development of secure decentralized applications (DApps), has launched yet another innovation, Streams, to make data streaming simple and fast. The latest innovation follows the launch of its API infrastructure that has handled billions of daily requests for several Web 3 projects, its recent addition of zkSync hyperchains to enhance data scalability and privacy, and the launch of AppChains.
The launch of Streams is yet another step for QuickNode in its quest to lead the blockchain infrastructure space by providing developers and businesses with user-friendly, fast and cost-effective tools needed to build futuristic and high-impact decentralized applications (DApps).
With Streams, developers will be able to build robust data models with a few clicks, revolutionizing how DApps are built across the Web 3 universe. According to the team statement, Streams will complement the provider’s ETL portfolio by letting users utilize popular programming languages like Javascript, Python, Go, or Ruby to transform payloads from Streams and enrich them with contract data by calling QuickNode endpoints.
Praising the launch of Streams, Nick Yushkevich, Director of Product, QuickNode stated:
“As blockchain data grows, the complexity around extracting, transforming, and loading data into applications has grown. Streams removes this backend complexity and offers developers a better UX and faster time to market.”
The platform will provide developers with immediate access to full historical and real-time data from major blockchains such as Ethereum and Polygon, with no major coding experience needed. This is expected to boost the overall rate of development across the Web 3 space and opens up a new world of possibilities in the space.
From creating powerful trading models and analytics to gaining access to preset datasets and reducing the cost of data streaming, Streams makes the process of using data across DApps faster, more reliable and more effective. Crucially, Streams reduces operational costs and expedites the time-to-market for blockchain-based apps, a headache for most blockchain developers.
